Our Graduate Programs

The Department of Chemistry offers both a research-intensive Ph.D. Program and the Applied Chemical Sciences Professional Master’s Program, providing pathways for students pursuing careers in academia, industry, and beyond. Our doctoral students receive close faculty mentorship and extensive research training in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment, while master’s students develop advanced technical expertise and practical skills tailored to professional careers.

Beyond the classroom and laboratory, graduate students benefit from a vibrant and supportive community through organizations such as the Chemistry Graduate Student Association (CGSA) and FACETS, which foster professional development, mentorship, outreach, inclusion, and social engagement across the department.
