CRISP Summer Fellowship 2021
Chemistry-Rice Interdisciplinary Summer Program
CRISP is a summer internship on chemical research for undergraduate students of underrepresented backgrounds.*
Hosted by the Rice University Chemistry Department, CRISP will start on June 1, 2021 and consists of 9 weeks of research and mentoring with a Chemistry Faculty member. Participants will be placed in a research group to work on a project that aligns with the their chemical interest. Participants can expect to receive a $3000 stipend, travel support, and a housing subsidy for those who will live on campus (shared room).

- Resume or curriculum vitae (Additional Personal Background)
- Short personal statement (<1 page) that describes your motivation for participating in this research program (Research Experience Interests)
- Current transcript from all post-secondary institutions (Academic History)
We will request a letter of recommendation from the person you list as your recommender. You should list a person that is familiar with the scope and quality of your past academic or professional work. You will be able to track the status of your application through the system after you submit it.
Priority applications are due March 2, 2021, and qualified applicants will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis after March 1, 2021. All applications are due by March 15, 2021.
