Laboratory for NanoPhotonics (LANP)
The Laboratory for NanoPhotonics (LANP) is a resource for research breakthroughs and advances in the broad, multidisciplinary field of Nanophotonics, which spans the physical, chemical, biological and information sciences. LANP provides team-building and collaborative opportunities at Rice, regionally, nationally and internationally. LANP offers the first graduate degree program in the United States in this field and is home of the NSF-funded IGERT (Integrative Graduate Education and Research Training) grant in Nanophotonics. LANP also has undergraduate research experiences that provide advantages in subsequent graduate and professional opportunities.
